My father’s Books on Veda – A Synopsis

(Path of rituals) Vol.1 and Vol.2 ,
Written by
– The rituals are designed to purify a person throughout his life, from the womb to the tomb.
– Through simple English in the form of Questions and Answers, the 2 volumes cover the entire gamut of the rituals (correctly called Samskaras or purifying rites) ordained in Veda.
– The sequential order of a Karma, the gist of Mantra meanings, the rationale behind the performance are also given, so that a person attending or performing the purificatory act (like marriage, naming of child, funeral rites etc.) can do so with understanding and enjoyment.
The books help answer questions that the children raise these days.

Where else can I find these books?
These are NOT easily available anywhere. I searched on the internet and found Amazon selling them for $29.43 + $3.99 shipping. I saw Alibris selling them for a high price of $143.52.
The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, N.Y does not sell them. In India, the publishers want me to take back all of those books from them since they have no hopes of selling them. They say there is no demand for such wisdom these days. I personally evolved while associating myself with typing and proof reading these books.
So, the one sure place you can find these books at a price you choose, is with me.

What do the books cost?
It was my father’s desire that these books NOT be sold from my end. He felt that writing these books was his way of discharging his debt to the teachers who gave him the Vedic wisdom, and he called it Brahma Yajna (Study of Scriptures and passing on knowledge).
Honoring his wish, there is no set cost for these books in USA.
To procure the 2 books (Volume 1 and 2) from India and ship them within USA to your house it costs me $22.
Any contribution from your end using the “Donate” button below, will help meet this cost and will be donated in total towards causes that preserve the Vedas such as Yaga/Yajna (A special kind of Fire sacrifice done for the world harmony), Veda Paatashala (Schools that impart Veda Mantras) and going in for next editions of the books in future. These causes will keep the Karma Kanda part of the Veda alive and not be lost for our future generations.
